quick skill question

do skills like Backstab and Sneak Attack require a dagger/piercing weap (like Everquest) or can they be done with anything?

good question, they probably do, since I can see how you could backstab with a gun or a bow, or somthing like that.

I was basically thinkin in terms of being able to use those skills with a THF sub...while swinging a big 2h sword or somethin with your primary job

Not sure if you can do it with any weapon or with a thf sub(but I'm thinking you can on both). But you cant use em with ranged weapons like bows... just a note.

can anyone verify whether or not those 2 attacks can be done as a sub?

Um.. I think Backstab can be used if THF is subbed, but Decieve attack can't be used because the level cap is too low..

I thought the primary's lvl cap was 60...the chart on this page says Decieving Atk is a lvl 25 skill...so the math should work unless i've got one of those numbers wrong

Sneak Attack (Fuiuchi) works with ANY weapon.
The attack maust be at the rear of the enemy, however.

sneak attack works with any melee weapon. you get deceiving attack at level 30 not 25.
