The Azoth will become one of the top Tier daggers, close to X's and Blau, the other two...just won't.

A lot of this stuff is nice SaTa gear, with Dex pieces rivaling Heca parts without the slow% but some parts may make for nice TP gear. Specifically the Airy buckler for non /nin builds and the Enku boots if you can't afford Dusk. All in all, some nice gear, but nothing that really topples the best out there. But that's expected.

The Enkidu's Leggings are really more than just a Dusk Ledelsens alternative, they're Dusk Ledelsens, War Boots and Leaping Boots all rolled into one.

Unless Azoth has a hidden effect, I don't see it as being top tier. Blau Dolch and Sirocco Kukri, the current top tier weapons along with the elusive X's Knife, are both far better than the Azoth. On the other hand, it seems like a damned fine knife for DNC.

Actually I don't find X's Knife all that great. Wiki says it's a +10% boost to critical hit dmg. I'd rather use Heart Snatcher.

Heart Snatcher's DPS is crap with or without the crit bonus; there's no reason to ever use one, since if you lack Blau or Sirocco, you should be using Magnet Knife. X's Knife not only has a better DPS than Azoth, it would in theory boost the damage of your SA/TA'd WS as well.

You're just looking at part of the picture.

Heart Snatcher: 30 DMG, 205 Delay. DPS: 8.78. If you add 6% to that, you get 9.31.

Blau Dolch: 33 DMG, 178 Delay. DPS: 11.12. Plus +5 Acc and +18 Attack while TP<100.

Sirocco Kukri: 26 DMG, 150 Delay. DPS: 10.40. Plus constant Wind damage.

Magnet Knife: 32 DMG, 201 Delay. DPS: 9.55. Plus (allegedly) frequent Gravity procs.

Yeah, Heart Snatcher is trash. For comparison, the underrated Save the Queen has 10.00 DPS, and it's an effing Level 65 PLD longsword. Company Sword, which is the poor man's weapon for PLD goes up to 12.72. Maneater's DPS is 10.65, plus the Acc and Attack. Perdu Hanger's DPS is 11.73, plus the delicious Acc and Attack as well. Honestly, anything with a DPS of less than 10 is terribly underwhelming for endgame standards.
