  • / NIN question

I read something in the FFXIclopedia that I am 99% sure is wrong, and I want to be 100% before I edit it.

Duel wield greatly amplifies SA and TA damage with multi-hit weapon skills, as the damage boosts are added for 2 hits (1 per weapon). For example, is SA normally adds 300 dmg, with duel wield and 2 weapons equipped it now adds 600. Because of this, NIN sub allows insane spike damage capabilities to thf.
    Emphasis mine. Comments?

    Re: / NIN question

Definetely wrong. Dual Wield adds an extra hit to WS, but SATA still only apply to the first hit, and the first hit only. Therefore, having Dual Wield changes nothing about the SATA damage itself.

I've read that SA guarantees that the second hit from a dual wield attack round will hit, but that's something else entirely.
