    Re: Advice on equipment

Highly overrated for Stylet. Blau Dolch + Sirocco + haste gear would make you an insane TP generator and hate magnet lol With Sirocco being available for great dmg @150 delay, it's insane not to use it off-hand to cut our delay to the minimum possible <_< lol

Stats are nice on Stylet, but the fact that it's 28 delay higher than Sirocco makes it kinda worthless for TP burning. Sure, perhaps in some rare situation where you'd be SATAing an HNM or something, then yeah, would be great for dmg, but those cases are rare =/ lol

I would highly rate the Stylet if it didn't cost so much. The reason for that though is due to the droprate on it and the method by which you have to acquire it, which makes it a rare item = expensive buy.

Don't worry that will be my first job to 75. I have patience since I solo my thf to 25 before starting to party with anyone.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that /NIN allows your dmg to be more consistent, while /WAR might give a slightly bigger spike in numbers when it hits fully. Pretty much situational based, such as mobs having low eva or agi then /WAR would be good, but 99% of the mobs 60+ have higher Eva and Agi >_>
The thing is, any accuracy you're getting out of your off-hand dagger shouldn't make the difference between hitting 4 hits in a DE or hitting 5, and you won't always have an offhand dagger. /WAR isn't just about the damage spikes, either (though they're very welcome) - it's about the added damage to your normal swings, too.
I understand your point about DA, but DA doesn't proc as often as you'd think, just like TripAttk, so TP gain is actually lower than /NIN 50+. And have to consider the fact that TripAttk can proc on both hands, so it's 1-2hits /WAR (4hits max if considering 150 delay dagger vs. NIN 2-hand round delay, but in that aspect, most 150 delay daggers are low dmg and barely any stats such as +Acc or +Dex) vs. 2-6hits /NIN per round. So perhaps that's another reason for /NIN, since the TP gain is significantly higher which leads to more WSs + higher WS acc = more dmg.
Double Attack proc is 10%, it's been tested and proven many times. That leaves a 5% speed advantage in favor of Dual Wield. However, Dual Wield doesn't increase your TP gain unless you have two low-Delay daggers (which isn't feasible at every level without sacrificing damage) while Double Attack will. It doesn't matter that TA can proc on both hands; the fact that you're swinging in sets of two doesn't change how often you swing or how often TA procs. The outcome would be the same if you were using both hands, but swinging them individually at regular intervals. A /WAR should out-TP a /NIN before 70, easily.
