I would like some info on how the galka pan out as a thf. It seems that they would be better suited then humes because there strting agi is the same and the galkas have more str for viper later. Basically i was wondering if there is a huge difference in how the stats lvl. If anyone has any stat charts itb be awsome if you could post em. thanks

Re: Galka stats
Of COURSE STR and ATT modify Viper Bite/SA damage.
DEX is a direct mod however.
For the record:
Personally, I think Galkas make really awesome thieves. We're a different build from your average Taru or Mithra (Who will be superior in AGI and DEX).
But you'll have plenty of HP, VIT, and STR to make up for your lack of AGI.
Galka DEX is on par with a Hume's."Vacation. Alienation. Japanamation. Manga. Kanga. Naked Lunch. Hawaiian punch!!"

Re: Galka stats
Viper Bite has no secondary modifiers, but all physical weaponskills calculate damage based on str and attack, your dex is added to your damage when using Sneak Attack, and your agi is added to your damage when using Trick Attack. When you use SATA VB, all three stats will affect your damage.

Re: Galka stats
Yeah. Most weaponskills have secondary modifiers, for example Tachi: Enpi has a secondary modifier of 30% str. Basically for Enpi, 30% of your str gets added on to your weapon's base damage in the calculation. Viper Bite has no such secondary modifiers, but str still plays a major role in the damage calculation. It's hard to explain without pulling out equations and pointing at variables, but if you want to get into the specifics of it, check out this link: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Calcula...n_Skill_Damage. If you're going for max damage on a physical ws, raising str is always going to have a bigger impact than the secondary modifers.
