Normally Id say stand behind the mob but they aggro to sound so you could maybe use a sneak oil and creap up behind then steal. When I did it it took me 10 steals before I actually got it, only steal+ at that lv is Rabbit Charm but not really worth the 1m ppl usually ask for it.75 Mnk Sam | 70 Drk | 40 Blm | 37 Nin Rng Thf War

you can get a Key ring belt for free from the quest Bait and Switch. The belt gives +1 to steal.Comment

Steal is very random. At 75 you can have over +12 Steal and I still have days where I get nothing over and over, then I have days where I laugh at how easy it seems.
Just dont fall into the normal myths about steal. INT doesnt affect steal.
I will say from personal experience that if you have hate, your steal rate seems very low.Comment
