Pantie Raid!!!

It is almost time for me to go get my JSE panties to get my Rapparre(SP?) Harness. I have yet to pass the Ouryu fight though, so I can only raid the Phenomuna(SP?) Aquaducts. For thos Thieves that have done this, is this a good place to raid? Thanks in advance for any help!

well, in all honesty, i have only seen 1 thf subligar drop there, out of like 4 runs <_< the sacrarium has better droprate O.o but i havent subligar farmed there either...
the subligar seem to drop fine, its finding a thf thats hard.

Actually Phomiuna Aqueducts has a higher drop rate on the panties than Sacrarium does, BUT... Phomiuna Fomors attack move in groups and are difficult to impossible to isolate. Sacrarium ones are much easier to handle in this respect.

Sacrarium is also somewhat easier to traverse, as it has far fewer Stegotaurs than Phomiuna, and it's easier to sneak past them in the tunnels of the Sacrarium. You can get to a panty raid party solo if you're careful in Sacrarium. It's nearly impossible to join one that's already hunting in Phomiuna.

Getting this done for Thief was an utter dissapointment. 7 parties, dozens of subligar obtained thanks to my Treasure Hunter, and not one danged Thief Fomor fought. Make sure if you go, you try to go with a committed group or with friends. Otherwise you run the likely chance that one of a couple of things will happen:

1. 1 or more players D/C (intentionally)
2. Players start leaving as soon as they receive their subligar
3. You never fight a Fomor Thief because you're going to the room with the Fomor that
more people want.
4. Your party wipes to that one person you know is a bumbling fool in waiting

On the same note: Don't ditch the party if you do get your subligar

There is a room of 4 fomors and Eba the NM. The Ranger and Thief Fomor share spawns. While the Bst, Pld, Drg are constant. These can be easily isolated.

There is a 3 fomor party of War, Thf, xxx (I forget the third) might not want to bother with this one, unless you have ES+Sleep, or more than a 6 man party. (Not worth the effort IMO)

Youll have an equal amount of fun with Swift Belt.

As for the droprate... its the same mobs in both locations and Ive seen the sugligars both rain down in both locations and not drop at all. So like many things in this game its a matter of chance.

eh...well, yeah, the thf/rng share thing is annoying :/ also...i would think sacrarium has higher droprate, due to the fact that the mobs are higher lvl :x but i guess i was wrong O.o

yeah, i got eba down to like 10% with 1 PT before she grimhalo'd us >_> it sucked...

We had around 16 ppl and Eba had her way with us. That was my 3rd death for the day and not one subligar had dropped yet. It kinda sucks when you have 3 nin tanks and I got hate from just meleeing and not using any job abilites on the fomors.

As for Eba, I fought her twice. Two nin, two pt alliance. The first time I (as a nin) got caught with my pants down and ate it early. The other nin held on for a while but eventually they, and the rest of the ally fell. We raise up, get set and try again. This time she wasn't even a problem, go figure.

As for the three pt fomors. With two nins and a Blm/Rdm they're easy. I took them with a group of 8, sleep one and tank the other two.

As for thf subs. Having only ever been to the ducts myself, I have to say we've always had good drop rates there. While at the time none of us wanted the thf sub, we had to kill it anyway for a clear pull. And most of the time we killed it a sub dropped. I have to say I'm pretty thankful it did cause I ended up saving one just for the hell of it and now I got a nice purple harness to use for 5 lvls.

The only sub that I haven't seen drop there was the Rdm onry one, despite every attempt to get one it never dropped. We got the Brd/Rdm one, but that makes a different JSE piece.

So in short, yes you can get the Thf sub in the ducts.
