Regarding Steal

I am currently a 66 thf and begins to wonder if there are any differents between a 75 THF stealing gold beastcoin from gobs than a 75 JOB/THF. Is steal like meditate or utsusemi Ni where you get penalized for having the ability via subjob?

Some of my Thf buddy in my ls told me a 75 JOB/37 THF stealing is as effective as a 37 Thf stealing. Is steal accuracy determine by the level of the main job and attributes (DEX and AGI?)

I believe its based upon the level of the THF job.

For example I was a level 52 THF in Oztrojo for my coffer key, I was having a better steal success than someone with 37 THF sub, and my friend who came along as 60 THF was having better luck still...

Maybe this was just the situation on this one time, but...

It has always seemed to me to be a combination of the two. When I had /15THF with my 40MNK I stole less than I did at 40MNK/20THF. Now I steal even better with 58MNK/20THF. 75THF probably steals the best anyway.

There are item which give Steal+, maybe the steal ability give you like say +10 steal once you get it, and the steal+ helps increase the chance of stealing, similar to counter+ item for mnk. But I do know is some stats affect steal success rate.
