Test: DW increases WS damage

Again, probably preaching to the choir here, but I figured I'd post the results, since I had already done this test a long time ago. Note that though others have verified that the extra offhand hit does receive WS modifiers, my test was not designed to prove that... only whether or not the offhand hit actually adds damage.

Single-wield VB:
72 damage, 5% TP
61 damage, 5% TP
68 damage, 5% TP
68 damage, 5% TP
75 damage, 5% TP

Dual Wield VB:
128 damage, 10% TP
129 damage, 10% TP
156 damage, 10% TP
161 damage, 10% TP
151 damage, 10% TP

I been following your posts from ki, but i didnt read the whole alla thing because of the boring blah blah that came up etc..

ANYWAYS my question is(I didnt read fully on alla if it was posted there)

IF the offhand double or triple attacks does it recieve the modifiers of the ws as well? I am I am heading to yes. Testing it would be annoying though <.<

Pics were pretty bad I think only 1 actually showed VBs damage in it if that was what you were trying to prove in them. It does prove that Dual Wielded weapons are adding to the WS Damage, always made sense to me.

If this is the case, then does that mean offhand's dagger's base DMG also effects the WS DMG?

For the extra hit that comes from the offhand, it does.

I pretty much had to do it that way, because if I wait for the log to show damage, there's a good chance that another attack round would fire off and my TP return from WS would not be displayed correctly.

So instead of using a Harpe/Garuda, should I use Harpe/H.Harpe? I guess this depends on which WS your using I guess?

Well, for max damage on your WS, yes. For respectable TP gain, hell no.
