Ranged skill

I'm a lvl 22 thf and my bow skill is 3, and throwing is 1, and marksmanship is 0. What is the best way for me to lvl any of these skills at lvl 22 thf/war? I really need some help, because all my ranged attacks always miss, and i want to do some dmg, and have them lvled when i unlock rng.

It would have been easiest to level one or two of them as you leveled your thief, but it might be kinda late for that.

I'd recommend soloing or duoing with a friend against some lower level monsters to raise your skill. Do some testing to see what monsters get you the best skill up points, and have at it.

yea, do that for a bit and then level war some. Finish it up to 15 at least and try to land some shots as war. They have a wider selection of equipment, and it's much easier for them to level marksmanship (thieves can only use the costly debuff type bolts).

You should be able to get a skill up here and there while pulling. Ranged attack damage really isn't too much of a factor if you're just pulling. If you were planning on leveling them now for ranger in the future, you shouldn't have to worry about that. While you level ranger, your Archery and Marksmanship skills will go up just about as fast as your current melee weapon does now on thief.

P.S. If you're looking for which of the three is best for thief, I'd go with Marksmanship. It's the ranged weapon that thieves have the most skill in, and the status effect bolts can be quite nice at times.

Don't worry about your ranged skill if your lving ranger. Just get Thf to 30 and it will level quickly as you play ranger.
