Ok so Im 1/8 on Maat atm and the 1 I did win I didnt really. I stole from him then stood there in utter dismay seens as Id been lead to believe it was an instant win. Turns out that Warp Scroll is actually to warp me out [Duh] So altho it was extremely hilarious for my mates it doesnt make the fact that Im still on Genkai5 after 8 attempts any easier. Ive got Steal+7 and I run in Hide and then steal. [Then die] Anyone got any tips on anything I could do to better my chances of stealing?? I even stand behind him to steal. Im not giving up and Im quite happy running back to Yhoator and getting more testimonies. Just would be nice to end it soon. Suggestions please

There isnt much you can do to increase still rate. But make sure you bring a reraise scroll to try to steal twice.

So I dont loose exp if I raise and die a second time?

You dont lose exp in a Maat fight unles you've already beat him.

try to fight him
a friend of mine did that as mithra level 70 with capped evasion
he got hit about 4-6 times
what you need is good markmentship skill for sleep bolts

go in
sleep 100 tp
SA (+WS) or seperatly
icarus wing
WS
blind bolts
fight + hi-potion
sleep bolts
SA (if TP) + WS

WS = dancing edge

if he uses 2h you can hit him with bolts i`m really sure
use your 2h to use your potions

get sure to sleep him when your SA timer is up
you can also use a blink band once you are in (switch back to other gear)

if you die and reraise, you the option to SA him or try to steal
(idk if he regens after you are dead, if not, reraise + SA him more then 1 time)

You can just flee from his Perfect Dodge and kite him around the arena to save yours.
