The Dragon Stuff

Am I missing something? all the forums are discussing their new 70 JSE except the thieves. Well Anyway, I'm not a career thief but I'd like to hear what the pros have to say about this stuff. How it compares to existing equip and whatnot.

All pieces are level 73

Dragon Cap: Agi+4 "Subtle Blow" +3 Breath damage taken -5% Enmity +1

Dragon Harness: Dex +6 Agi+6 Attack+10 "Subtle Blow"+10 Breath Damage taken -10%

Dragon Mittens: Agi+4 Attack+2 "Subtle Blow" +2 Enmity+2

Dragon Subligar: Dex+4 "Subtle Blow"+5 Breath damage taken -3% Enmity+2

Dragon Leggings: Dex+3 Agi+3 Attack+2 Enmity+1

It seems to me that this is S-E's way of embracing thf/nin with all the super subtle blow stuff. All Told, Agi+17, Dex+13, Attack+14, Breath damage taken -18%, "Subtle Blow"+20, Enmity +6.

I think the legs, body, and feet are great. Nice DEX+ boosts to switch in for SATA, but i dont like the AGI only stuff. I like to focus more on the DEX, at least right now, though i will most likely pick some more AGI stuff up in the future.

Compared to other stuff?

Blue Cotehardie gives +4 STR +4 AGI and +3 DEX, i like the STR but if we get 6 DEX off the harness it'll be a tough decision for me.

Merman's Mittens give +3 DEX and +1 STR which i like more than the +4 AGI and little bit of ATK.

Emp Pin is still nicer than teh cap imo. I like teh +3 DEX as well as the AGI on it, plsu the eva helps when soloing.


What i do hope is that the Enmity gear gives more ahte to your TA like ive heard from some people, though i cant say whether that is true or not.

By 73 and if you have access to Hecatomb I'd consider most of the Dragon pieces to be worse (other than the harness). I'd wear the dragon legs myself because I don't have hecatomb legs.

Heca gear is crap for melee. You only sub it in for SATA, WS and SATAWS then change back to melee equips. Heca gear>dragon gear for SATA, WS and SATAWS though.

Dragon Leggings and Dragon Subligar I would wear for melee. Optic hat>Dragon Cap and war gloves>Dragon Mittens for melee. Dragon Harness may or may not be better than scorp harness depending on what you fight.

I'd only wear the subligar meleeing myself, so I was mostly talking about macroing in for stuff, not just wearing all the time. And like you said most of the Heca pieces > Dragon pieces for swapping.
