Ok I hope you can answer these questions...

If I sub THF as 30RNG/15THF (w.e) and camp lizzy and kill ya ya, will the drop rate increase? or does the drop rate of Rare only upgrade when you get the TH2?or does the drop rate increase if it were a 75pld/15thf?

Secondly, Gilfinder, hows that work? Does it double the gil you get or is it depending on ur main job once again more gil as 75PPLD/15THF then 30RNG/15THF, help me here im gonna take thief to 75

Most people will say it only works on normal items (non-rare/ex) but ive found that the item im looking for drops more often than when i dont have th/th2. For example, i came on a mission for a friend of mine cause i was bored. They were killnig orcs in monastic while waiting, got 0 keys. I zoned into monastic and satrted to help kill we got 2 keys off the first 2 orcs and we also got several testimony. Anyway, it should increase drop rate.

I wouldnt say gilfinder doubles the gil exactly, though it does increase the amount you get quite a bit. I wouldnt say it increases when you lv though.

TH1, 2, 3+ all increase the drop roll. What you get with that roll is random anyway, but yeah, it will increase your chance of getting boots by some. (No one can tell you by how much, even approximately, it's just too difficult to test.)

Gilfinder does not double gil. It increases the amount by some random amount (never very large, though). It's a pretty craptacular job trait.

I read somewhere that level can factor into the drop rate. The belief was that the closer you are to the monster's level, the higher the drop rate is.

I have no clue if it's true or not, but someone else here might know.

That might be true... i first fought Emp at lv 40, got pin first drop. Went back at lv 50 and didnt get a drop in 17 kills.... that also has to do with luck though

If you want to talk craptacular, talk about Mug For an ablity that has a 5 minute recast, mugging 50 gil from some mob seems pretty pathetic.

The mobs dont drop much gil in the first place... what you expect to get 100G off something that drops 75?

No, I expect such an ability to have an appropriate recast time (like 3 minutes...). Anyhow, mug is mostly cool vs. NM's. They carry bank.

Level doesn't affect droprate. SE has publicly stated so.
                You know I'm right.
