Ranged weapon choice.

Ok sorry guys im sure its been posted before but i couldnt find it in search, all i found were the best type of a specific ranged wep to use, my question is which type in general should a thf use? throwing, marksman, or archery? thanks in advance.

Long Boomerang was my first ranged weapon purchase, and should last you for a good 20 levels or so. Its level 33 afaik so you are a bit too low, but a flame boomerang can hold you over.

Boomerang > Bow for pulling, less $$$

Long boomerang agi+2
Lightning bow +1 dex+3
Combat caster's boomerang +1, +2 accuracy+4, +5 when region not under own nation's control
Bomb core attack+12 (don't throw it, use macro to switch to it. won't lose tp.)

Long boomerang is agi+2. Light boomerang is dex+2

Thanks for the Combat Caster's Boomerang +2 suggestion. I just picked one up to replace my Lightning Bow +1 for non-Bastok regions.

Also, just to make sure, should I replace my Lightning Bow+1 with a Bomb Core for Bastok controlled areas?

(until I switch nations of course)

It might also be worthwhile to mention a Power Crossbow (AGI+1).

The stat bonus is mediocre at best, but the effect from Acid Bolts (if you can land them) is better than any stat bonus from any other ranged weapon.

You will need capped Marksmanship and a RACC ring swap, though (in order to consistently connect against expable mobs).
