There is no point using anything but duel wielding daggers at lvl 33+, because you can now Viper Bite. Unless of course your farming or in certain HNM situations.

I would keep the Mithran Scimitar. The extra DEX is nice and the accuracy won't suffer too much at that level.

You will have to give it up at somepoint, but in the meantime hang onto a sword as much as possible to keep it skilled up. Swords have a much higher damage, and can do good damage against farm level mobs.

I actually used a sword at 40 in my offhand to complement my AF dagger (combat caster's scimiatar?). I think I used it for a couple of levels until a better dagger showed up. I got to re-cap my sword skill, and I didn't feel any weaker. Back then I was less aware of the 100TP in 60 seconds goal, but I didn't feel like I was any less combat-effective.

Granted, it is subjective, but as long as you are doing VB's with your main hand, I don't think you are noticably weaker.

I used Federation Kukri - Mithran Scimitar until L40 when I replaced the scimitar with the AF dagger.

i think its rather the stats of weapons you should look at. Just because at one point/situation dual daggers works best doesn't mean that in other situations sword offhand is good aswell. And yeah tp is based on delay so a sword would give more tp return to work around the slower delay. The best way to insure 100% tp in under 60 sec is to never miss.
