    Sword > Grapples.

And if you're one of the 100 people that want to be THF/NIN then using sword is better. It also seems to (me) that Sword is faster Grapples.

But, I haven't tried this, I think shoulder tackle connects with sneak/trick, so grapples might be better for that.

        hum

Prior to 33 and Viper Bite I'm pretty sure the only two techniques that stack with sneak attack are combo and fast blade. Only ones I ever noticed doing it, anyway.

hand to hand works great with thf. i'm lvl 23, and at 300% tp, i can stack sneak/boost, and release with combo on clippers in qufim for 229 damage every time. i keep a sword and dagger with me at all times, because i lvl dagger every time i lvl, and i have the sword if we need to renki with it. this 'E' rating doesnt effect much until about 30, when there is a huge skill cap gap between weapons...

besides...thfs sword rating is D and h2h is E...you get 2 hits with H2H, so i normally get more TP with H2h than sword....
