What weapons to use as a Thf/Nin?

Im currently a lvl 30 thf/nin taking time off to gil farm and id like to know what a good weapon set-up would be?

Im now using a Centurion's sword in my main hand and a Federation dagger in the sub slot. Should i stick with swd/dag (switching hands for viper bite) or should i dual daggers for the lower delay and somewhat quicker tp gain?

Also is it a good idea to plan on wielding a greed scimitar and a lust dagger? (winds up with +6 dex/agi but offsets the lvl 50 +2 to most belt)

If so ill keep a sword on hand to level up.

Lastly, is the +3 from the mithran scimitar worth the loss of damage later on and if so, till what level? By the time i return to levling i expect to have one.

perhaps a more experianced thief should answer.. but i will give my thoughts on subject

(before 33, it is all about fastblade + fuidama.. so.. please disregard for < 33^^.. )

i find that when in party's now i have habit of performing fui + viper bite constantly.. sometimes in renkei, othertimes alone.. could argue for dagger + sword and dagger + dagger either way ..

dagger/sword -

sword is only really useful as stat boost maybe (also additional damage with normal attack).. so.. i think that a mithran scimitar would be nice to have in the off-hand.. tp gain will be marginally slower.. also.. theif is not as skilled with sword (albeit by a small margin) so it is possible that more misses to attack will happen = slower tp gain..

flip side is that.. for renkei.. you must also wait for others in party^^.. and trick/sneak is on a 1 min timer also.. so it may line up nicley with others^^.. also.. when you do hit.. it should be more powerful due to the + stats ^^

dagger/dagger -

much quicker tp gain in my experiance.. can usually fit in 1.5 fuidama with ws before renkei partner is ready^^

offhand dagger is also not as important for damage.. so.. maybe can put a more interesting status ailment weapon in that slot ^^

.. i considered greed scimitar/lust dagger also^^.. will be interesting to see output of damage.. as for the +2 stat belt.. only thing which matters is dex/agi.. if others mattered, you would not select lust/greed scimitar as combination.. and even though additional stats are cancelled out.. you will still gain +1dex and +1agi from the belt ^^

i cannot comment on third, due to only being level 37 ^^.. however i would advise to seek the comparison above between dagger/sword + dagger/dagger as advice^^

this is just how i analyse situation, am always happy to read explanations by other people.. so.. please.. correct me if my views are mislead

im a lvl 36 thf/nin and this is what i use for weapons.

i have 2 sets of weapons, and i change them mid battle.

in my left hand i use a windurstian kukri (dam 14, delay 188, accuracy +3, attack+5 in non windy controlled areas)

and switch off depending on region with a merc capt. kukri. (dam 13, delay 196?, accuracy+3, attack +4) could be wrong.

in my right i use a centurion's sword when im just plain attacking, and i use the /equip sub "Mithran Scimitar" macro to switch to it when i do my fuidama. its enough to notice a difference.

these weapons will last till 40, till you get your first AF dagger.
