    http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/sho...threadid=29581

    Posted this in general topics but figured maybe some thiefs can offer their input

    Thanks
    Work like you don't need the money and love like you've never been hurt.

    Viper Bite would be fairly retarded if it doubled your sneak+trick damage as well.

    It's not broken.

          I'm still a bit confused about Fuidama and I'm lvl 46, because sometimes, I'd do 100-200 (Without ViperBite) and other times I do 400+ (Without ViperBite) in the same enemy. Also, sometimes I do 150-300ish with Viper Bite, and other times 600+.
          I noticed that having a Galka tank helps to do higher damage <_<
          Fuidama does more damage with a better angle? I thought it was "Or its successfull, or it misses". :sweat:

            Angle

            Along with what Fuuko said, does angle still make a difference in how much damage you can deal with •sˆÓ‚¾‚Ü? I know it did during ‰¡‚¾‚Ü before the patch: There were some certain angles that guaranteed 480-600+ while other angles (majority of the time) did 300-450 (Or so it seemed like to me, anyway).

            After this patch, the damage range has been varying on extremes. Does any Thief out there know if there are certain angles that deal more damage than others?

            Anyway, on my experience I seem to do more damage when I am facing toward the center of the enemy and somewhat to the side of the secondary tanker.. And on my initial •sˆÓ‚¾‚Ü, I use the /grim motion <st> and lock on to the main tanker and walk toward the enemy, a little to the side and I usually hit from 200-300.. The majority of the time, though, it does unusually crappy damage;;
