lvl 60-70 thief

Right now i'm trying to decide between a thief/redmage or a redmage/whitemage. I'm going taru either way just because i like the short people.


So the deciding factor for me is my role in the group, especially in mid to high levels.

So basically I'm asking for the experiences of anyone who's been a high level thief before. What exactly do we bring to a group in higher end encounters?
