thf vs rng

ok i want to be a thf and rng but not as both. so im wondering to ppl who play beta what is pro's/con's about one or the other and i kno ranger does more dmg and thf's transfer hate. but what is game play like and who is more respected i can get over looks of both so plz send in info

Someone PMed me the same question, and i answered this:

Rangers are able to dish out the most damage but that doesnt mean they can always do that because if they do so(shooting non stop), the enemy will not attack tank but otherwise stick on the ranger.

if there is no thf in the pt, a ranger will have to fire the arrows, stop, fire, stop, or they will die, so their output damage is just capped like, drk or other job.

but if there is a thf, the uniqness of thfs is, thf can do massive damage(around 20-30% lower than ranger i think) and transfer all of the hate to pld(or your tank).

so basically if you are a ranger and have a thf, you can just keep firing your arrows a lot more than having non of em in your pt, and pld can still keep target on him because the thf help trasnsfering the hate from thf's damage to the pld.(the thf has to be well skilled to do this too).

thats why the best combo is still pld thf ranger in the front line in my opinion.

ranger and thf works DAMN well together. we are just in different roles. there is no any job that is respected more, also, there is no better job. both are just awesome.
