    And its not like they cant come up with new stories.

    Aeons, Eidolons, Espers, Guardian Forces and Avatars, they're all the "same" but oh so very different, and they all have an important role ingame, both as battle mechanics and plot elements. Its one of the things I love about FF titles, and im sure im not the only one.

    I'm very liberal in what avatar they add to FFXI, Magus sisters or something weird like fat chocobo, they'd all be fun to have.

            I'm still wondering if they'll do something with Dark/Light Ixion. It could be interesting if they did it so that you'd summon one or the other, each doing different things depending on if certain conditions were met. Something kind of like how some of Fenrir's BP work say.

              I doubt it. One's an HNM and the other is a Freelance NPC.

                  Oh I know, I just view them right now as more of a split personality shall we say?

                  I don't exactly view them as two separate entities, but I also don't exactly view them as the same either.

                      Bahamut is always a possibility, especially since we can already obtain his Whisper. It all hinges on whether or not SE is willing to bite their tongues like they did with Diabolos.

                      They never said anything about not adding Diabolos to my knowledge, just that they won't add Bahamut because he is too important of a character to be ordered around by lvl 1 characters and such. And hell, Atomos is just as likely as any of the other Avatars you mentioned, regardless of his place in the story.

                      It's not a typo, it's in reference to the homage everyone is "dismissing". The Shikaree are based on the original Magus sisters more-so then the FFX ones.

                      Maduin was renamed "Madeen" and showed up in IX and again in FFTA. But no FF's final summon (i.e. The Magus Sisters) ever showed up in another FF game.

                      Aloural Alicorn =/ Ixion. For all we know it's still possible for Ix to be an Avatar and the AA or Dark Ix could be involved somehow. But then again, much like Bahamut, you need an EG worthy shell to win a fight against DI so I doubt SE would put people through that. Getting Diabolos is hard enough for "new" Smns, I doubt they'll make the next avatars even further out of reach of casual players. Not being able to get top of the line gear is one thing, but everyone should have a fair chance at getting a jobs spells/abilities.

                      Possible but not probable. He's too tied into CoP/the far east to show up in the game at this point.
