these three where never real summons.... they where a boss in FF IV, and a special bonus thing in FFX, but not summons that have been in the series.... so why in the hell would they be summons (as one or three) in FFXI -.-

Kain (FFIV): I am aware of my actions, but can do nothing about them.

Because SE can do whatever the hell they want. Shiva has never been a motorcycle and radioactive squirrels have never been clowns.
If a freaking old man can be a summon so can these three.
Ok fine, we get the "strongest summons" in the game, now, which one do we summon? Mindy, Cindy or Sandy? Or is it going to be 3 of them following me at once? Also, would I be able to control them or are they just gonna "do what they want" Final Fantasy 10 / X / FFX - Aeons - The Magus Sisters
And wtf happened to Overdrive? I loved that word... they should have used that instead of 2hr or something... pfft. 2hr needs to be fixed to 1hr prz.
At this point, I'm seriously expecting to summon Shoe. That's right, Shoe. It doesn't do anything, just drops a giant Shoe out of the sky, does about 1k dmg to the enemy and then sits there draining away my mp til I release it. No BPs, no spells, just WHAMMO! and nothing. Hell, it'd make about as much sense as the rest of the decisions...
oooo Monty Python own the right to the foot coming down from the sky, they may want to sue for that! Though would be funny especially if they have the Liberty Bell music (monty python theme tune) and a gumbys head popping up on the screen shouting "My brain hurts"
Maybe you'll summon the three of them, and they attack one at a time, and depending on which ability you use, the 3 of them perform that move, like Delta Strike.
signatures are for pussies mew mew mew, here's mine
Summoning them individually would be stupid. They're a team, always haven been always will be. In FF X I believe you could give them separate orders but they did still all show up at once.
If anything, Delta Attack would be their Astral Flow. I'm still hoping that's just a bad typo, as I'm not fond of these 2 shmucks at all.
If they wanted to go with an FFX summon why no Anima? At least Anima was AWESOME (and fit's the description of them having issues with one of the new avatars being too big)
Aside from the fact that she was the only Aeon with an extremely fleshed out personality and backstory, correct?
Final Fantasy X Spoilers
(Copied from the FF wiki):Like all aeons, Anima is the physical manifestation of a dream of a specific fayth - in this case, Seymour Guado's mother, whose real name remains unidentified. She could possibly be named Anima herself, Yojimbo implies the Aeons names are those of their respective Fayth but this is unconfirmed (Jecht in his Aeon form was called Braska's Final Aeon, not his own name). Other than Jecht, she is the only fayth to have significant details about her origin and past revealed.
During her life she was the object of much animosity due her interracial marriage to Lord Jyscal Guado, and to prevent civil war amoung the Guado she was exiled with her young son, Seymour Guado, to Baaj Island for their own protection. When Seymour demonstrated exceptional talent in the art of summoning, his mother encouraged him to undertake the pilgrimage to Zanarkand and volunteered to serve as his guardian along the way. When they reached the Zanarkand Ruins, Seymour's mother offered herself up to be turned into the fayth for the Final Summoning; Seymour, however, devastated by the thought of her death, broke off the pilgrimage and fled into the wilderness. His mother's fayth was transported by Yunalesca back to Baaj Temple, which was later destroyed by Sin and subsequently abandoned.
When Yuna and her guardians visit the ruins of Baaj Temple in the game, they are greeted by Seymour's mother's fayth, who tells the story of Seymour's past and offers Anima's services to Yuna to help her destroy Sin. She reveals that she holds no ill will towards her son; rather, she blames herself for failing to sufficiently prepare him for the challenges and pressures that would face him as a summoner and a half-human living among Guado. Having always felt responsible for Seymour's downfall, she views her service to Yuna as her last opportunity to atone for her decisions, to stop Seymour's "obsession with Sin," and welcomes the chance to be possessed by Yu Yevon in the final battle.
During the final battle with Seymour inside of Sin, if Anima is summoned Seymour remarks "You would oppose me as well? So be it!" It is unknown though if Seymour is addressing Anima as a former Aeon or as his mother.
So yeah, she definately has personality. If anything, I'd be afraid that she is too embedded in the story of FFX to cross over.
Well, if they're talking about the summon being unreasonably big, they could always relent on Bahamut. (Although if you have to beat Storms of Fate before getting him, to parallel the conditions on Diabolos, it could be a somewhat controversial decision. SE probably has data on how few players have SoF completed, even among 75s...)
Phoenix, Bahamut, Alexander, Odin, Ixion, Cait Sith, and Atomos are in the game in one form or another (although the last three technically aren't avatars); I'd look for any of them before something as crazy as the magus sisters.
