    Good lord, Boss, you ain't done that yet? XD

    Ah anyway, again, thanks for all the advice I'm keeping notes and will probably try to find a way into a good Dynamis shell once Val and I ding 65 or 70. Hopefully I'll have found a nice office type job by then so I can have my nights and weekends back. x_x

    Is there anyplace that a summoner and dragoon could duo (aside from Colibri, which we do from time to time) for exp? Neither of us has time for parties lately, but we try to work in a few k here and there when we can. Colibri aren't too hard, it's simply the having to full-rest after every mob that bugs me.

    Also, he needs to level the sub for his sub (one thing that does irk me about this game, lol) so we can do our main subs so we can carry on. His war is 30, but we want to straight shoot to 37, meaning back to the Dunes for him for another 3-4 levels because you seldom see anyone invite a War/Drg. If only.

      Nice Shirai =P Will look forward to that when I get merits capped on SMN =D Yeah, I still need to get sea ; ;, if I could find an LS that didn't break a month or two into my joining >.< Highest I've done with Ifrit has been 3500'ish on NIN AF1 mobs XD Can't wait to be able to get into sea ; ;

      Telera, you could duo Imps in Caedarva Mire, would probably be the easiest for low MP cost. With a SMN duo team, could do Predator Claws for around 1200 or so dmg each, Imps only have around 2400hp (that or do dual Eclipse Bite and hope for high Acc lol, but will generally take 3x BP to kill one vs. 2x BP from Garuda - 1 from each SMN). So if you're both 75 (or when you get 75), might dump a merit into Avatar Acc and then go to town on Imps =P Great exp/mps for a duo-SMN team with little to no downtime. Lemme know how that goes =) Enjoy!

        Re: Advice about End-Game Gear

        If anyone has found a decent, happy go lucky, 98% drama free LS for HNM/SKY/SEA..... then you are extremely lucky.

        Otherwise, the order of the day is greed and "what can you do for me?" linkshells that cater to one person and their close, personal friends.

        They're filled w/flame wars, and sophmoric humor, and racial/sexual slurs so bad, if feels like the 9th grade lock room all over again.

        I haven't found yet, one good, decent HNM/GOD LS that exists that can be considered good. And no, it has nothing to do w/luck or searching.

        As far as endgame items go.... I really wouldn't support you indulging into the headache and ridiculousness of endgame gear.

        Every piece of it is just icing on the cake in my opinion. There's nothing about the gear that makes your perform at a "stellar" level. Getting normal gear off the AH will still help you support your job and do it well. I say this, given the circumstances of getting pretty much most pieces of end game gear.

        But eh, people will still crave and desire and beg for endgame gear just to keep up with the Joneses. That's part of the reason why I stopped playing my previous character. I got so caught up into the struggle of getting "the best items," game completely lost its joy.

        Starting over from level 1 was very humbling and theraputic. I play the game to relax anyway, not have pixel-eye-crack to charm all the game nerds in the world.

            I feel with you on the "HNM" scene, but the HNM and general endgame scene are quite different from each other.
            I'm very lucky to have found an endgame shell that is very helpful and has a lot of events.
            People creating drama won't last long inside this shell either as they are either booted very quick or leave on their own.
            Neither are we into camping the bigger HNM as those in my experience are usually the big drama magnets.
            Usually the smaller unknown (endgame) shells that have been around for a while have a relatively drama free and helpful enviroment.
