The question isn't whether or not it's possible; it's about how you do it with any other given level.

Don't fret too terribly much over it. Summoners can still preform well without Fenrir; it's all in how you do it.

Fenrir with a leech isn't too bad. I usuall do the fight as RDM/DRK, then bring a PLD, a healer, and one DD, then the 6th being whoever needs it. I grav/bind, PLD kites it around, DD(usually a RNG) whacks away at it. As long as I nail the stun on Howling Moon(I've only missed it once) things are easy-peasy.

As far as soloing it, I think I could pull it off, but I wouldn't recommend asking a single RDM to beat it for you.

And Diabolos, I'd get at least one job to 75, that fight isn't super easy unless you do the cheap boot the PLD and reinvite when he has hate, then nuke from top floor method.
