Qufim Weather - [You can't have this.]

Anyone know of a particular reason why Qufim zone will not allow you to take the carbuncle ruby into it to get the weather effects?

I think I spent the 2 hours last night waiting around in the zone and going back and forth before I gave up and figured it just will not happen.

I don't think the zoneline from Jeuno will work. You might be able to do it via the entrance to Delkfutt's Tower.

Realistically though, the only weather effect for the SMN quest that you need from Qufim is Lightning, and you can get that just as easily in Pashhhow Marshlands, Konschtat Highlands, or (especially) Jugner Forest, among other places.

Qufim won't work, its considered "Dungeon" type of area, only "Outdoors" weather will work. Don't worry I did the same mistake way back then x_X

It's not and it is. You can't Escape from Qufim, but you can't acquire weather their for the SMN quest either.

Yes I spent an hour alst night trying to get thunder here and it didn;t work zoned in and out of Delkforts tower, Behmoths dominion and jeuno. so i will try again tonight in Jugner , Konchatt and pashow, not a happy chappy!!

I wouldn't bother going after Thunder weather specifically. Just carry the ruby with you and go about your business. You'll get it eventually when crossing one of the many, many zones that has it.

Worry about weather when you have to go after Ice and Fire. Those are both problematical.

Ice basically always in Glacier (zone from Xarcabad or Rangemont Pass), Valkurm Dunes has fire weather but it is pretty uncommon (but always happens from 10:00-14:00 in-game time when Valkurm Dunes has it).

For Fire just stand in Valkurm Dunes at the zoneline to Konstchtat HIghlands, when Fire appears yu have roughly 3-10 minutes to zone back and fourth to HIgherlands and back to dunes again to get fire weather.

I use Zi'tah to get Lighting it's always thundering whenever I go there sometimes double. By far the best place to get it

Yup zoned into Zi'tah on my way to mountains to farm courel meat got it straight away, one ahppy chappy now all i need is fire and that is the most difficult...

Qufim = "Special" than Or SE just never remembered to fix it either or

As for fire, I did the Dunes way ;_; took me 3 days. But I heard people going to altepa and or kazham. GL man ^^
