Class Reunion (Summoner AF2 Evoker's Spats)

I noted that a bunch of people on Alla seemed to have trouble with this NM. I suspect that this was pre-ToAU. Post-ToAU this is probably the easiest AF NM I've ever fought. The Dryads might be resistant to sleep, but BLU has the Blastbomb spell--a fire-based Bindga that sticks like glue even on sub BLU (recall that Saplings are weak vs. Fire):

I threw Blastbomb praying that I would get at least a couple of them to stay put for a second... They all bound...for the entire duration of the fight--from a Blastbomb on BLU sub level 30. SMN Astral Flowed and only needed 1 pact. They were finished off by -ga and meleeing.

Record for 4 players on Asura. 3 minutes and a few odd seconds.

I duoed this fight with my RL husband, who is a 75 BLM. I went as 75 RDM. Basically I kept him refreshed and healed and he killed everything with repeated gaIII spells and sleepgas. He said it was one of the most fun things he'd ever done in FFXI... but he's weird that way. ^^

The BLM's Sleepga stuck too--He even forgot ES as was suggested on Alla. You don't even need a high-level BLM anymore--a 30th level BLU will do.

I solo'd this as a lvl 75RDM/WAR. Phalanx + Stoneskin ftw. They don't hit hard, so even when Stoneskin was down they were only doing single digit damage w/ phalanx up.
