How difficult is it to get the fire element in Yuhtunga Jungle?

They get it in the dunes every once in awhile also.

meriphutat and VK can have fire popping. Kinda rare tho.

Yuhtunga and Yhoator Jungle both have occasional heat weather, particularly during the "summer" months in-game. It's not very common, though - your chances are about as good as in Valkurm.

The place to be to pick up the red fire weather for the ruby is, of course, Altepa. 2-3 Silent Oil and a bit of careful navigation will get you safely across the zone, and one more Silent Oil will see you safely to Rabao if you know where to go.

I've seen fire weather in all sorts of weird places. Sauromugue Champaign. Rolanberry Fields. Pashhow Marshlands. Valley of Sorrows. It's rare in all locations except Altepa, though.

I got Fire Weather in Valkurm. It's not nearly as rare there as it is in the jungle, but it's also not even close to as common as Altepa. When I asked Meriadoc (the Bastok Weather Man) I recall something to the effect that it would be "Sunny" in Valkurm with no mention of dust storms. I went to Valkurm and waited until about noonish, and lo and behold, it was fire weather time.

Korroloka Tunnel was the first area I traversed solo without the use of a map. It's a very easy first run even if you don't have an offline map (I had one), and it's kind of exciting to run by all those nasty creatures.

Yes. Should work fine. Just remember that to trigger the cutscene you must enter the zone while the weather is in effect; so stay close to the zoneline and just zone out and back in to get the cutscene.

Sit at a zone line in Altepa and wait for the fire element icon over the radar, then zone out and back in to Altepa.
