Does it do decent damage? Any hidden stats on it? I'm thking of getting it, but it seems real painful and i don't melee much anyways so i won't get a chance to use it much also.

Re: Is Retribution worth getting?
1) No, but it looks cool and the only way for SMN to make Darkness
2) Nope, but it still looks cool
At most, solo with a 0 tick Carby with Pole of Trials, it will take you about 4-5 hours to get rid of the latient (Doing Poision Nails->Sunburst for Compression over and over). You can make lvl 2 SCs with other Avatars, but your MP will be drained in about 2-3 mobs.
Gear for 0 tick carby with any staff(sans Dark/Pluto)
YY robe/Vermy/Dalmy/Austere Robe
Carby Mitts
Evoker's Ring
Evk. Pigashes+1
Can use lvl 50 JSE Ring if you dont have Evk. Pigashes+1
Getting Sanction Refresh will keep your MP filled up to the point the effect kicks in.
Best way to unlock is to find a friend to open a lvl 2 SC for you. Faster, easier and not as boring.sigpic
Y'okay!

Re: Is Retribution worth getting?
I almost never use it, since for me, MP means more to my damage than a slightly better WS... Although it is helpful to have, if nothing else but to help somebody you know unlock latents.Generic Info!
Yay for broken connection preventing me from exping/meriting!

Re: Is Retribution worth getting?
Well, I once did SATA Retribution for around 1,200 damage on a DC at level 75. I still like to use Spirit Taker more, though.

Re: Is Retribution worth getting?
Well its really good with carbuncle pole, since i was able to get 700 damage on an imp with it after the expansion was just released. For me there was no question if it was worth it or not though. I melee a lot and it saved me from going through the trouble of getting it on drg or mnk.
