Ghelsba Outpost BCNM 20 - Wings of Fury

My friends said they heard of summoners soloing this by themselves, but I can't find anyone information on it... I'd assume it's just like the Avatar battles maybe? But I don't want to do anything that would make 20 seals a waste.

If anyone could tell me alittle about this, I would be very grateful. Thank you~

I am not sure about the Wings of Fury BCNM, but i do know for a fact that the BCNM 20 Shooting Fish can be solod easily as a lvl 20 SMN, If you have Ramuh......i think there is a Post about it i will see if i can find it for you.

No, it can be duo'd and even then it's a bit difficult. This BC is a waste of seals anyway. Go solo Shooting Fish if you're looking for something to do by yourself.

Is the one you're talking about... does it give the Astral Ring too? Because that's my main focus for even bothering to look into this hehe.

No, but it does have a 100% drop of mannequin head, which goes for around 1M on my server, though it's hard to know the exact price since you can't sell it on the AH and they're rare in bazaars.

How much does an astral cost? I hear it has about a 10% chance to drop.

Unless you get really lucky (luck isn't something you should depend on), you're probably going to make enough for an astral ring by doing other BCs with some guaranteed profit faster than you'd have one drop from Wings of Fury.

That is good to know....I read up on Wings of Fury lastnight after I read the OP. It sounded intresting so i was gonna go try it tonight, but seeing that the Astral Ring is not a 100% Drop i think i will stay with Shooting Fish!

Wings of Fury has about a 20% drop on Astral Ring in my experience. My linkshell sometimes gets a bunch of people together to do this, mainly because we find it fun. We've beaten it with a bst, mnk, and drg, everyone was /whm. Also with 1 bst and 2 drg/whm. I think it can be done with 3 drg/whm, but I've yet to try it. I've used 140 seals on it, and only gotten 2 astral rings. It would be quicker to solo Shooting Fish for gil, and buy an Astral Ring. Save seals doing that also.

The one time I've done this as smn, set-up was bst/whm, whm/blm, and smn/whm, and there's no room to kite, or resummon when you're avatar is dead. The arena is just too small.
