SMN and BST duo, xp locations

Hello,
Im a 60 SMN/WHM and i have a 59BST/WHM in my LS who I have started to duo with. My question is, where is a good place we can duo where the mobs will /check VT to me, but my BST friend will be able to find EM and DC to charm. We have been duoing in the U Range against tigers, but as these maybe /checking VT to him they are only T to me, the xp is safe and we can chain them, but it would be nice to tackle a VT mob and get a lil more as well. Any suggestions?

Right, but those are solo guides. Wouldnt having two people effect the xp received over just xp going solo? When i was solo'n T volcanic gases as a SMN i was getting way more xp solo then when i was fighting T with one extra person.

not all are solo guides, if you look at some of them, they have duo information too.
duo guides are going to be a hit or miss, you need to do some research and testing on your own too. to have dc-em pets for a bst AND VT for a smn 1 lvl above a bst, those requirements are a bit too specific for any one to really know off hand or even document.

my suggestion is to have the bst catch up to you so sharing camps will not be a problem. once that is out of the way, try taking a camp on the solo guide 1 lvl earlier.

you can also goto ffxi.somepage.com and look at the mob levels for each zone and try to find camps that way.
