    Odin Can I have it?

    Has anyone heared anything about possable ways to unnlock Odin yet? Of all the Avatars in Every Final Fantasy he has always been my favorite. And of all the things in this expantion, I am looking forward to Him the most.

    Any hints would be appresiated.

    What makes you think he's summonable?

      Because the spoon demands it!

      Also there are Blurbs in the Dat files about "the Dark Swordsman" and his "Great War Horse"

      ALSO Odin has been in every FF since FFiii (Sept for X... they replaces Odin with Yojimbo). It's almost mandatory for him to be in it.

        Being in the game and being summonable are two different things :O Bahamut is in the game and you can't summon him. I think that was Balfree's point.

        Plus we didn't get every single addition to the game with the expansion. It just gave us the core content. Expect other changes and additions to the jobs through future updates. Only jobs to get any boost so far are pld and whm. Chances are if someone hasn't unlocked Odin by now or SE hasn't said Odin is summonable right now, then you'll be waiting a couple of months, dear. Assuming Odin is summonable at all.

          I don't think Odin will be summonable. I feel like he will be up there with Bahamut and storyline onry.

            i dont have the game yet and im with the other guys. Ive played every FF game hes been in and he should be up there with bahamut in the story

              Agree here, his design looks like it might be to big for Summons. Like Bahamut he is just to huge to be a summon. Though it would be awsome if Odin had Grungir, Draupnir, and Ichaival as drops. Imagine that translating them to in-game relations:

              Grungir (100% Accruacy + Crit. Bonus)
              Draupnir (Be like Treasure Hunter VI or something, mob drops 8 of a single item)
              Ichaival (Use 1 Arrow damage equivalent to a 10 fold attack)

              Though it might be a bit overpowered huh?

                Except there is already a Gungnir for players. But Odin also has a spear that could only be Gungnir. All in all DRG's Gungnir would be one of those weapons named after the legend because it's very powerful. Where as the true weapon is still in the hands of the legend. Call it True Gungnir I guess...
                But even after that, it would be weird to have two Gungnirs for players to use.

                Although his sword, bow, and maybe other items could be dropped.

                    I agree with the idea that Odin will be a story based mob. As much as I hate to admit that fact, I think he will be like the Bahamut of CoP. We will never really know, I mean, lets look at Diabolos, he was "story based NPC" and then he became an Avatar... so who knows...

                      If Odin isn't a summonable avatar, than I will be truely disapointed. He is the one thing I was looking forward to in the Expantion.

                              Well, he really isnt any bigger than Diabolos, however I still doubt it.
