1 ninja tank is possible. when u see your ninja in trouble those drk or blm or rdm/drk need to stun it to delay fenrir a little and give the ninja time to recover or the mage to cure him.
although i encounter like 1-3 times that my taru ninja die in 1 crescent fang or maybe crescent fang + some attack that is fast link together. but if u are not that unlucky + your party has good whm blm or rdm/drk etc it is quite possible although u need more team work then a blm pt or smn pt. i done fenrir like more then 3 times all with quite normal pt set up like nin war/nin whm rdm/drk blm smn (low level leecher because he pay is ;p)
also done in war/nin pld/nin thf whm blm rdm thf sata on pld and war voke when pld get hit etc, this was done in a jp pt so team work and the spirit that dont scare death win it.
another time i cant remember lol but i think is only 1 nin tank and some other job.
during all this 3 or more times i done it, 1 trip i try 2try and win it, the pld/nin trip i done 2-3 tries and win it and the only tank nin also 2 try i think.
