broken searing light

....Allright, i am friggin pissed off at the moment, as this ALWAYS FUGGIN HAPPENS AT THE 3RD SEARING AND IS DRIVING ME MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what happens: i command searing light, carby emits energy as when hes preparing anny attack, and then......NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

He just doesnt do searing!!!!!!! i didnt move, garuda wasnt out of range, astral flow was still there......

ANYONE know wtf causes this??? its driving me mad, please help me out!!!!!!!

OK, several assumptions coming up but bear with me:

1) You're trying to do the mini-Garuda
2) You're using potions or whatever to get your MP back up so you can use Searing Light for the third time.

Is it possible that while Carbs is readying himself, your MP drops below the minimum requirement for Astral Flow because of perpetuation?

This happens when you do not have enough MP to do the astral flow. You need have your current level * 2 which is 40MP. It will let you command Carbuncle to do the Astral Flow even if you are below 40, but when it finishes readying the attack (and your MP is below 40) it will stop and do nothing.
