i just Decided to take this taru(in my avatar)
so what do u think 'bout him ?!
should i change or stick with it

right now i'm WHM to sub it for SMN
should i change to human !?

coz i don't want to make another character
like i want to play many jobs for one character..
i pissed off getting killed (taru is weak)

i love playing as a summoner as a taru for the massive MP we get right now at 9 i have 155 MP with some a Cerimonial Dagger and a Hairpin 1k from my 1st MP boost and from wearing 1 astral ring ^^. the only difference in a hume and a taru summoner is MP and being able to take hits i almost died to a orc from slam dunk and it was a easy pre that left me with 3 HP you just have to take it slow.

Taru SMN at 24/25+ is an awesome mail healer =D

Actually, don't worry about being a 'weak' taru, because Whm and Smn gain almost all their exp in parties.

Whm you will have to solo the low levels, but after level 11 when you get Cure2 people will want you.

Anyway, Whm and Smn are MP jobs, Taru's specialty.

because hell if i'm taru in lvl 70 my mp would be 800 and something
if i'm hume and in lvl 70 my mp would be 600 and something
hell look at the diffreince !!!

Actually after lv 70, you'll probably easily have over 1.1k MP as taru ^^

I'm a hume, and I had over 1k MP when I hit lv 70 as summoner, with reasonably good equips.

As for taru, its a great choice for summoner, you have kinda low HP though, but the MP is awesome. You chose a good hairstyle for your taru, I like it! So keep going ;3

so human has normal things in every job >.<
things that i like to be is
WHM/BLM/BRD/SMN/NIN/RDM
i really hate the attack things like warrior pladin monk

For the jobs you mentioned (almost all magic using jobs) you'll be fine with taru. Taru's strong point is MP so that helps with all magic using jobs, plus for BLM I believe they have more INT than other jobs, so yeah...staying with taru is a great choice ^^

being a taru is nice when it new patch came where you can MB with your Summon and them being linked to you stat wise having more INT is always a good thing ^^

having hp is always a plus.

taru and hume both do fine as smn. only thing is hume has more hp to convert to mp, and taru have higher base mp.

some tarus end up using hp+ gear in the end, so they don't one-hit die.


in the end, taru or hume, smn is smn. it doesn't play very differently based on race.
