elvaan SMN?

I played SMN as a taru. i died a lot. trying to keep the party alive. As an Elvaan SMN i might be able to get an astral ring or two. and after 40 ill switch to electrum rings. I was in a EXCELLENT party in yhoater jng. and the Elvaan SMN was awesome! he had more HP and MP than my taru RDM/WHM. that person is one of my friends now. and I have moved on to a different server. leaving them all behind. Hopeing to get a better start (not throwing out crystals/beasty seals/ taking advantage of AH/stores/vendors/etc.. I was planning on being a PLD or NIN. And not being a SMN. But. Elvaan summoners summon ina cool way. they have good MND for cures. And if i become one i might take WAR up to 30 and have my sandy fame at 7 and take shiva as a prime with some of my high levle friends. maybe. or just take them at 20. /sigh I tried that with my Taru. it didnt work. i died way too fast. i had REALLY good equip.

BTW.. Elvaan summoners look cool while summoning

i've seen a galka smn in the past. he was like 20 with 2 astrals on. wasnt in my party so i dont know how he did.

Tarus are fine SMNs ... In fact I love being one and wouldn't trade race. I've never had an HP problem... SMNs are the most likely players to have a buff on anyway, be it stoneskin or blink. Plus, VIT difference between races isn't big. Healing is easy with Healer's Earring and now Austere sabots/AF pants. MND isn't important at all for SMN either past the first few levels . Of course, I didn't have to do the level 20 battles, so those weren't a problem, but all races should die pretty often on those.

And you think Elvaans look cool when summoning? O.o It's a friggin seizure lol :dead:

Galka looks the best hands down when using summoning magic. Nothing can even come close.

Elvaan females look nice when summoning, the males... um.... :sweat:

Elvaan smn works just fine however. You won't be better than a taru or anything, but it works fine. =)

It looks cool when they cast Utsumemi though. Heh, I remember starting this game first day as a taru blm in windurst. After about 15th yes around that... deaths.. i deleted that taru and became a hume.

I am a 63 Elvaan Summoner with Fenrir. It is awsome. I love my litle summoning animation too

I like Elvaan Ninjitsu casting, but I don't like the Elvaan Male SMN casting. Don't know that I've seen a Elvaan Female.

im thinkin of gettin the zenith series armor....think about it... that series -250hp +250mp (in total) , IF i really wear that things i has less than 500hp!!! lol

Yeah, but if they wear the entire set they miss out on the nifty class-specific bonuses like avatar accuracy up, blood pact timer down, etc. ;P.

Well Elvaan casting is just cool.. coz the animation thing
but taru is born for this Casting thing :spin:
BTW taru look more cuter when they close thier eyes and cast,
elvaan=Small Head, BIG body & Hands,
they look ugly, they only good for MNk and killing stuff,
right now i just begin playing FFxi coz i took one weak to choice between taru's face
i'm WHM
to sub it for SMN
