Gatts, you really shouldn't be so quick to judge others. I initially ignored your posts since your assumption and accusatons were utterly ridicuous. I've never bragged in-game or on this forum. Why would I post to annoy others, and why would I brag about the Mittons out of all the rare and expensive stuff in the game??? Most of my stuff is things I get through quests like AFs, RSEs, Summons, and yes, Mittons. BTW, Mittons are not that rare and not that difficult to otain if you join a Mitton PT or alliance. 1st part of quest can be done solo by some jobs or with help of friends.

Funny thing is I consider your achievment of obtaing all summons via LV20 to be a more difficult and impressive.

BTW, weren't you the one who posted on a thread where a rightfully proud person had completed all the LV20 summons? If I recall, you belittled that person's accomplishment by saying that it is not hard at all. That seems more like bragging and condecending towards others.

You comments still boggle my mind. I would have continued to ignore it had it not been for Teffie's posts.

I was telling the people who make unlimited threads about how to get them, how to get them in a way i found easy, which required very LITTLE skill and effort, the point of the thread was not to say "i have the avatars, look at me" ... it was to say "heres a way where you can practically get the avatars handed to you, to save you all the frustration ive gone through".
Also, if youll go back and read my post again, i was trying to tell people not to worry so much about the avatars being hard because if you think they are going to kick your arse, youve probably got a much greater chance of losing.

Why would i brag about something that thousands upon thousands of people have done before me? theres simply nothing to brag about, besides, i lost a ton of times before i tried that way. The reason i said my times were close to those of the server record were to emphasise that i really think this can work and people should try it.

I'm sorry if ive been such a pain, its just all i read in this post was pretty much the equivalent of:
"i have apocalypse, and now i do good damage, pretty cool huh?"

Its obvious to me now thats not how you intended it to come across, and im really sorry for stirring up so much.. well.. 'crap'.

Actually, to defend Gatts, when I first read the OP, I too, got the feeling that you were just trying to brag about your gloves, mostly because the post wasn't helping anyone in anyway by you telling us how great you are with your gloves. However, after reading all your posts Tomoh, I could see that it was not your original intention to brag. I just wished maybe in your OP you could have put something helpful in there, like maybe how you got the gloves, and what it takes to get them, I think maybe the post would have been more helpful.

Tomoh isnt in a vastly unique situation. There are quite a few people in good ls's that can obtain these gloves. As well as alot of high lvl players fooling around with SMN for sub, fun, or 2nd job.
Theres lots of posts about high lvl content and armors and how they can be used.

Aaanyway, trying to put this back on topic. It seems to me so far that with the gloves, you can summon an avatar, use its ability then dismiss. Bring out Carby after and use him for a reduced cost attacker. Even at 25+. He's not bad at it, really. This is what I've been doing, anyway.

You know.. i've read alot of Tomoh's posts for a long time now and i doubt he'd get to the bragging or even start. So far he's been humble and respectfull and people respect that and i gotta commend him for not handing out an insta-ban even when asked XD

Still looks like it could be half to me since you're still including Auto-Refresh. Without it, the perpetuation cost would be 7 instead of 6, half of which is 3.5. The mitts might just round up to 4 resulting in 3 mp/tick yielding 2 mp/tick when Auto-Refresh is put into play.

I'm 64 now myself and the cost went up a notch to 8 mp/tick. With Auto-Refresh + mittens Carbuncle costs me 3 mp/tick and with my Apollo's Staff it's an even 0 as of now.

By the time I hit Lv 72, the cost will be 9, so that would make it 4.5 rounded up to 5 with my mittens, resulting in a cost of 4 mp/tick with Auto-Refresh, then when you add in my Apollo's Staff I end up with 1 mp/tick which could be rectified with an Evoker's Ring.

I dunno ^^ maybe I worded it wrong but it sounds right in my head.
