  • japanese players with equip with + CHR

hello I used to think being a summoner meant just stacking up +mp and stats for ur sub job, but i keep on seeing high level japanese summoner players that stack charisma. Do any of yu know why ?????????

      lol

that is possible, but my JP friend who has lv.75NIN and then played SMN is using a Jester's Cape +1(+10CHR), Corsette +1(+6CHR). I asked him why and he said CHR makes avatars stronger, but I always thought it was skill that makes avatar's stronger

Well this is from Shiela's Summoner Guide on gamefaqs.com, quoted directly:

A less known fact is that CHR increases monster hate, so the less you have as a Summoner, the better. This is also why the Austere/Penance equipment set has CHR reduction.

          Actually, from SE themselves:

The charisma attribute score does not effect enmity(aggro). It does however effect how a bards songs and beastmasters charm ability are not only used but resisted. There are also weapon skills that are greatly effected by charisma.

There's arguement that it helps with provoke, but it does not have anything to do with emnity.
