Actually if you didnt use mini forks for mini fights they can be use for teleports. So ppl who fought them 60+ can use forks as teles but people who fought mini cant use forks to tele straight to smn primes.

However, I did enjoy the mini avatar fights, Much funner than it would be to Leech off of friends of mine ;P

Also, with them being solo, I admire others who get them this way, it shows that they take the time & skill to get them. (not saying that the others dont, not at all, just saying that this is quite a dificult way yet its worth it.) Now I have fenrir & Diabolos left to get, Even without those, I plan to be a good smn anyways. ^^b

Heh.. As for the main topic of the 2 year old thread... I remember when the mini-battles were released and I admit, I WAS a little agitated. It wasn't because I thought I was big and bad and cool or whatever. It was more like... OK, let's say you're a level 75 black mage and you've spent countless millions of gil getting all the spells, spent time questing some of the questable ones, etc... And then in a patch, SE decides to create an NPC who will sell ALL black magic spells for 20k each. You wasted hours and hours of your life getting these spells to be as "complete" of a black mage as you could be, just so that future generations of BLMs could meander over to the NPC every time they leveled up and throw down 20k for their next spell.

Not saying that the solo battles are easy. Heck, I haven't done any of them so it'd be wrong for me to make any claim of knowing their degree of difficulty. Just commenting to the main topic of this thread. ^^

And it's not like Diabolos and Fenrir are difficult to get if you're determined and have gil. I've done Fenrir-for-hire more times than I can count, and I've fought Diabolos as a RDM/DRK for leechers as well. The truth is, getting any avatar has never been completely unattainable. You just have to be willing to throw money away hand over fist to get anything you want in this game.
