I've been wondering what good summoning skill was. I figured it boosted melee a bit and, more importantly, would effect things like Earthen Ward's damage absorbtion.
I didn't really question my guess until talking to a SMN, who told me that Summoning skill wasn't really important at all. I figured second opinions would be nice on this.
I'd like to know if Summoning Skill level has any effect on Blood Pact (exception to level II magic, ie Blizzard II), and what effects it has on the stats of the avatars. (HP, STR, AGI, etc.) Also, if Earthen Ward (have to love stoneskin) isn't effected by Summoning Skill level, what does determine how powerful it is?
