Alright I went to Garuda fight with my LS. Group consisted of 74Pld (LS's highest member) 62rdm (me) 61whm (my friend) 61 brd (ls member, former 63 rdm). Our target was garuda. As you can see, neighther melee or the mages were heavy damage dealers. Our plan was to simply try charge garuda for the heck of it. What I noticed difficult was: Going to the Closier. Can't stress enough, although Cape terrigan seems easy to reach by looking at the map, it was frigging confusing. VT~IT mobs everywhere (including one VT to 74 paladin the Greater Manticore). Pld got aggrod twice by goblin (rofl) but managed to kill them. When we reached the closier, we casted our buff, protect + shell + reraise2.
Entered the BCNM, pld got agro quickly brd ran to him casted ballad2 + Minuette. I started debuff (all landed with no problem) my role was refresh + haste constantly, whm did cure and regen2 duty. Brd did the usual thing... My nuke... although capped did 1 digit number /cry so focused on debuff + refresh + haste. Astral flow did about 300 damage to pld (never reached us), but AeroIV did some quite damage when followed by dbl attack with 1 crit (which lowered pld hp to orange) Needless to say, CureV was a god send, good thing whm lvled to 61 for this spell since I bet we couldn't made it without it. All in all 20min fight (LONG) and she was down. Me and whm friend got garuda. I believe the most painfull thing was the travel it took to reach here... as many people stated. And no... I don't think a 30 lvl people will contribute IN ANY WAY in this fight. I believe with 2 more damage dealaers we could have won without a sweat. But alas, I brought myself my LS's highest members which were these 4. (out of 7lol) I will keep informing our progress with others which will be sometime this week... our next target is Titan, Ramuh, Shiva... putting Ifrit and Leviathan last.
