Best PT configuration with SMN?

In your opinion, what's the best PT configuration with a SMN in it? >.< I'm wondering because I'm thinking about getting a set party going in my LS/with friends when I unlock the summons.

I agree with Kirara except for one thing.

SMN/WHM
BRD/WHM
BLM/WHM
DRK/THF (or /WAR or /SAM)
RNG/NIN (or /WAR)
NIN/WAR

Replace the RDM with a BLM. Oh, the damage would be insane!



Having a SMN and a WHM in the same party seems like a waste to me. Have one or the other. They are both cure tanks, and you don't really need 2 of them (especially with a Ninja tank).

smn,rdm and brd for back row.
nin/war, thf/nin and either a rng/nin or a drk.

rng steals aggro with barrage, starts skillchain with piercing arrow followed by a sneak+trick+viper bite by thf onto the ninja - sick damage and guaranteed hate lock, I love it ^^
Bard isnt really needed to get chain5 with this setup, blackmage for magic burst is a better choice after trying whm,blm,blm,nin,rng,thf also. So swapping out whm for smn in that pt would have done just as good.

From there add either a whm or blm depending on if you need stona or not

6th spot can be anyone with provoke, dragoon or drk work best.
