im a whm...when should i sub to smn?

I am a whm, i love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. I love helping, healing, and keeping my PT members alive. Frankly, I don't really like that I have to sub a job because I want to just focus on WHM. I'd rather spend my time leveling from 20-21 as a whm then leveling 1-10 as a smnr.

Anyways, I know I have to sub though to get in groups, so I am going to go SUM just to get the mp boost and etc. etc.

When should I do this? Should I just go only whm till 60, get the summons, then get summoner and level it up some?

If I get summ at level 18 or so, how high should I level it before going back to whm?

Well i have resently finished the summoner quest which took sometime to do but it was worth it.

I dont have any of the other summons yet all i have is Carbuncle and Earth Spirit.

Ok i'm not having whm as main because i am goin to have Blm as main and Smn as Sub.

I have started to lv summoner first because i just want a few lv's behind it befor i get the other summons.

I have been told by alot of people that im doin the wrong thing by have Blm Main and Smn Sub because Blm should only sub whm but i dont care what others say im doin it for the MP boast which means that if im in a party we can make longer chains so less resting and also it can make solo playing easier for me.

Personly it would be better to lv it first because the other summons will take up more mp and when u start summoner at lv one u have low mp so the other summons wont be much help.

So in my words lv it up first.
