Day of the week affecting difficulty of avatar fights?

I've never seen any mention of this, but does waiting until Iceday for a Garuda battle help a ton since BLM nuke her only with blizzard type spell (and garudas astral flow maybe is weaker on this day?)? At the very least i'd guess fighting her on Windday would be bad :sweat:
Also, do the cloister/battle areas get the weather of the zone they are connected to (e.g. Cape Terrigan weather is in the cloister of gales?)

Anyone have any experience with this?

yeah we went to KO ifrit one day without checking the weather(relative) or the day . and guess what his attacks did about 100-300 more damage hehe.
hi sp Koed t level 70 monk, so we waited to co on a day he was weaker, basically just ran around the cualron gettin keys and crap .
