no it's not level 30 i call it 30 because it require 30 god coins, it has no level restriction (or the restriction is 75)

yes even if you die in the battle field and the party wins you can get the summon prime

Thats a good thing to know, I wondered if I should have reraise on and revive just before the avatar dies.
Can you just warp out once its dead or do you need to click the protocrystal to 'flag' the battle as won (kill avatar, then click crystal for it to count).

Another question, a 'paintbrush' is needed in temple of uggalepih to get to den of racnor (leviathan). I'm told only 1 person in the party needs this, is this dropped by a NM tonberry in the temple?

Edit: (Got info to get paintbrush - Credit goes to Bside on Fenrir server)
        1. kill Tonberry Cutter in Temple of Uggalepih, and obtain Uggalepih Key. (only Cutter drops it, and it's different from Prelate Key or coffer key.)
        (Tonberry cutter is level 51-59)

        2. head to F-7 of the 1st map in Uggalepih, and trade the key to open the door. (if u don't have a map and not sure how to get there, escape out to the entrance, and go right, right, left, at each "junctions.")

        3. once in a room, find the key that should be named like "old small key." (i don't know how it's translated in NA version, but in JP client, named "ŒÃ‚Ñ‚½?¬‚³‚ȃJƒM")

        4. after u get the key, look for the box in the same room, and u'll get a Paintbrush.

Oh, wow, this is great, Kirara! Thanks!

I planning to go get Shiva soon (its your first map - you read my mind!!), if I can find the high level help, and now I'll know where I'm going, so I won't look dumb and get lost on the way!

Just venting here, but getting to Ifrit is a Pain In The Ass
              Blackmage died twice
              Very hard to cast there.

That's cause everything in Ifrit's Cauldron is magic sensitive. If you're going to go after Ifrit, invest in Silent Oil/Prism Powder. The walk was cake for me at 32.

wait so you got ifrit at lvl 32?! i thought you had to be at least lvl 60, waiting that long seems like a pain, but there is a way to get summon primes even at lvl 30? wow that changes alot

Yes , LV32 can go fight primes as long as they have 5 other high levels helping them. LV32 should at least be a WHM or RDM so that they can at least heal. Prism Powder (Invis) and Silent Oil (Sneak) is a must since low levels will aggro everything in sight. This is even if you have the Sneak and Invis spells. Lastly, you need 5 other high levels to fight the primes for you. No one shouting for Summons PT in Jueno will accept any mages under 60.

                          Correct ^^

A lot of us are so spoiled having high level help holding our hands throughout the entire game, just work your way up there and experience it yourself instead of sponging. BTW, don't you need huge fame for the avatar quests?

Yes you need a ton of fame to to get all the tuning forks - I've played since october and just finished all the fame work for all avatars a few weeks ago.
You can burn a ton of gil and get it done faster or do it gradually as you level up.
My friends level 56-62 tried garuda last night and she ran them out of the battle area, she outhealed/blinked their ability to damage her .
In maybe 2-3 more levels they can whip her butt.

I found a Japanese site with maps on how to get to the Prime fighting spots. Maps are not as nice as the ones Kiara posted, but should help a person out.
