Does anyone know how you acquire this avatar.

Before you flamers say he isnt in the game...

type /ma "Fenrir" <me>

Then type /ma " name of some other avatar or just random letters" <me>

then to see it proved type /ma "Shiva or any known avatar in the game that you do not have" <me>

This proves that he is a spell in the game....

I think the general ffxi public knows what they're talking about, there is no way to get him.

yes the programing for him to be summoned is there, but they hav enot made or released a quest to optain him yet :p

Hmm this might be an interesting way to see what other summons may be planned for future updates/expansions

Really given enough time and expansions square could add every summon ever in a FF ^^
