Is it comfirmed that all leeches drop the ruby?

The lowest lvl leech are those in Z.mines, lv 1-3 only. Do those drop the ruby needed for smn quest? Anyone knows?

Not all leeches drop the ruby...

the ones I know of are in Shakrami Maze (where I got mine) and the Valkurm Desert. I'm sure there are more, but typically they are mid range leeches that drop it...

rolanberry's poison leeches drop it too. we got one while running around charging TP for Sim :p Ironic how the ruby drops but the damask ingot didn't ?R(;?L„t?M)ƒm

Just about any Leech I've ever fought has dropped a ruby. The ruby takes an awfully long time sometimes to get it. I know a thief that's spent almost 2 weeks of game play and still hasn't gotten a ruby to drop and he's fought leeches that I know from seeing first hand drop a ruby. Not every leech was mid-level range, unless you consider ones you can kill around lv. 10 mid-level..
