A beggining Summoners Questions...

Alright guys, I have a problem. I just got FFXI on Sun and I'm a lvl 7 Hume RDM. I knew from the start that somewhere down the line, I wanted 2 be a Summoner. I couldn't imagine my gamming experienece without Ifrit & Shiva! So here comes my problem. What lvl do I need 2 be as my RDM to be able 2 combat these Avatars. And is it true that a lot of fame is needed in the town that I'm accepting the quest from. And here is where my big problem/misconception comes in 2 play: If a lot of fame is required to take the quest, is it true that my party members must also accept the quest to enter the battle field with me? Because if that is true, do you think I'd have a hard time finding a GOOD party to go take down the Avatars? Thx a lot for your time guys and good luck playing Final Fantasy XI Online!

Haven't fought them myself as I am too low level but you should be around lvl 60 I hear. Also you have to have the fame in order to get the quest but your party does not. You will still need a good party though so good luck in the future with that

In order to do the summons battles you need a ton of fame per city that gives the quests. some towns are linked to cities and you will be able to get the town summon quest if you can get the related cities quest.
Also in order to take part in the battle EACH member of the PT MUST have the quest and a tuning fork of (fire,ice,ect)

so in summary
1)get fame
2)get summons quests
3)get PT that has the quests
4)KO them fools
5)use them KOed fools ^^
6)Have fun
