Windhurst Fame..

I was wondering if the Crawler quest could be repeated to get Fame.
Like ... every other quest seems to cost lots of money while this quest will gain you 600 gil. (200 x 3 crawler calculus - 600 gil = 0 loss)
If I could do this enough times, could I get the Ifrit and Titan quest?

Yes this quest is repeatable, but teh repeatable quest tend to give less fame than one-time quests.

Which quest would give me the most fame at once?

and even though it takes long to do the crawler quest.. wouldn't it still be more worth it since I don't lose money?

Could you post a ratio between the quest you mentioned vs the Crawler quest...

And also like... how many times must I do the quest to get enough fame to get Summon quests.

I did the crawler one maybe 20x.
Sardine one in port windhurst about 50x
About 25+ mandragora bud+feather to the taru in windhurst waters.
And turned in a *ton* of cornette to yoran-oran (at least 50).
Also about 20ish non repeatable quests also.
It takes alot of time

I got the tuning fork for ifrit and ramuh now though.
Working on bastok fame now... need zinc, lots of it...

Zinc Ore quest in Bastok = Tenshodo Fame for Leviathan.
Zinc Ore quest does not Give you Titan

The best repeatable quest in windurst is "Mandragora Mad."

4-leaf mandragora bud=120 gil
Cornette=200 gil
Yatungah Sulfur=250 gil

Mandras drop cornettes like mad, much more often than crawlers drop Calculi. Also, instead of 3 inventory slots for 1 repeat, it's 1 slot per repeat. Mandras are also much more plentiful and less hunted than crawlers (due to the silk crawlers drop).

I needed tenshodo maxxed for the ninjitsu scrolls, leviathan is the summon I want the most besides garuda. Having to go back to norg again is a pain :p
Not sure why you thought i was shooting for titan next. But yeah zinc isn't 'bastok', its just in that city, my bad.

Yeah i did Mandragora Mad tons of times, I bought out the AH cornette supply so many times since people sell them for 200gil or less :sweat:
I did the sardine one in port windhurst 30 times, but that one is way too tedious (zone each time)
Maxxing out fame is a real pain in the butt, however i'd rather get it out of the way now so I have all the keys to do the fights when the opportunity presents itself later.
It helps on the shop prices too since I do tradeskilling as well.
