3 min (probably a bit longer? i was able to pull off 3 ultimate attack before it wore off) and smn doesn't cost mp when astral flow is actived
i am sure at high level it's hard to pull off 3, but 2 is still possible

You mean you pulled off 3 Astral Flow abilities? That seems like a very nice improvement on Summoners for sure. Thanks for that info, didn't realize it worked like that.
I still wouldnt call the ability to kick more ass every 2hrs for 3 minutes, at 1 minute intervals(thanks ability cooldown timer) a 'fix' for a job that still plays as mainly a curetank.
It still comes across incredibly weak compared to BLM w/ manafont if you 'need damage now' even though its 1/6 the duration.
Btw is summoner 2h staff an 'A+' skill now since the patch said they upped staff skill for smn?
MP slip and the 1min ability cool down timer still cripples the job in my newbie opinion.:sweat:

I hit astral flow then used carb ultimate ability.... that gets me 0 mp.. I tried to use the ability again.. but it said I had to wait.. so I waited.. hit it again after timer.. said I couldnt use it..
I usually pop astral flow and use 2hr on monster that will cause me to level up, so I will go from 0 mp to full when it dies ^^.
I suggest drinking juice before you fire off the avatar ability, sometimes when mp drains to 0 the avatar will unsummon. The juice mp regen will sneak +1 mp in there and climb without having the avatar unsummon.
Once that occurs you can stand there with avatar out and let it melee while you get enough mp to fire the 2hr ability off once more before astral flow wears off.
Or you could unsummon it and rest for mp, summon and try to use it again.
