    I figured I'd give it a shot and mail PlayOnline about some of the complaints I've been hearing about the Summoner job, in hopes they might do something. :spin: This is what I wrote:

    "To whom it may concern,

    This message is concerning the Advanced Job known as Summoner. As of late, I have been gathering opinions of others who have already acquired this job, and most, if not all, are very disappointed.
    Currently the Summoner job is highly flawed. There are also many bugs involving all summons. People would still see a summon onscreen although you recalled them. If someone unequips an item or moves while you do a party strengthening ability, you loose the MP, the summon will freeze, and the summon wont even do the ability. The timer will reset and you can't do anything for another minute. This has become very annoying.
    These are some changes that most Summoners are looking for to improve the job:

    -Skill up to become easier.
    -MP costs change
    -Keeping summons out having less mp slip (or none at all)
    -The damage summons do is valid for the MP cost, so it does not feel wasteful.

    If you would take any of these ideas into consideration, the Summoners of the Final Fantasy community would be most grateful."

    I'd like to thank Sheila, since these were her suggestions that I used. I know I'll probably get yelled at, but maybe if we started trying to contact them and let them know there's a problem, they might actually do something? I guess I better go hide from verbal assaults now. :confused:

    Thats cool, i think its a good idea. Summoners are very important in FFs, and hearing the SMNs in FFXI suck is really disapointing....

      If they read it, I bet they takes thoe bugs into consideration unless they alredy know about them (Which is most likely)...
      And about the no mp cost for having the summoned creature summoned I think is a must, just make the abilities cost a little more to compensate so you dont have to withdraw after every little battle... It could also be fun to have a summon to show people, if it cost MP/second I doube people would do that...

        They can't get rid of the MP drainage AND make them stronger altogether because then everyone would want to be a SMN. I think they should cut down the MP per second a bit and they need to keep the summoning MP cost because then you can just keep summoning things and getting your "Summoning" magic skill up easily.

        So really the only thing I'd like to see is maybe a few more abilities, the abilities not being resisted, and cut down the MP per second cost by a bit.
